Pantelis Boubouras is a Greek businessman, who originates from the island of Lemnos, and has been living and working in Ukraine for the past 20 years.
Pandelis Boubouras first came to Ukraine in 1995 and worked with the construction company MICHANIKI S.A. Together, they played an important role in the realization of several projects at the Greek Square in Odessa. An experience, which opened the door to his further involvement in the construction business.
In 1997, to meet the growing demand for construction in Ukraine, Mr. Boubouras established the company “Gefest” with its main office in Odessa. Today, after more than 20 years of successful activities and sustainable development, “Gefest” ranks among the biggest construction companies in Ukraine.
Aiming to facilitate the development of trade and economic relations between the two nations, Pandelis Boubouras along with other initiators, created the Association of Greek Entrepreneurs and Enterprises in Ukraine in 2014, and was elected as President of the Association in 2015. The Association and its members work towards providing a solid basis for business opportunities between the two countries.
In addition to his business activities in Greece and Ukraine, Pandelis Boubouras actively participates in numerous charitable activities, such as financing schools, organizing cultural and social events, providing aid to hospitals and families affected by war.
Pandelis Boubouras firmly believes that “man should give back to the society in which he lives”. Following this principle, he founded the "Boubouras Foundation" in 2016, a non-profit, charity organization based in Odessa. The Foundation promotes charity, social welfare, education, sport, culture, arts and sciences and acts as a bridge between Greece and Ukraine.
Pandelis Boubouras puts all his energy into establishing bonds of friendship, mutual support and unity between the two nations.
In recognition of her services, Greek and Ukrainian authorities have honored Pantelis Boubouras with awards and distinctions. Some of them are:

Ioannis Kyriakopoulos currently works as the Chairman of supervisory board at Piraeus Bank in Kyiv, Ukraine. He has an extensive experience as Chairman of the Board of Piraeus Bank Bulgaria AD, Vice Chairman at Piraeus Bank Romania S.A and Chairman of Tirana Bank Sh.A.
Mr. Kyriakopoulos has also served for the Hellenic Seaways as Vice Chairman of the Board for 5 years, playing an instrumental role in leading the company to its high-growth profile.
Mr. Kyriakopoulos has wide experience in international banking, wealth management, investment banking, loans, business strategy, consulting, financial risks, credit analysis and know-how of the emerging markets.
Ioannis Kyriakopoulos holds a Master’s degree in Investment Management from Cass Business School and a Master’s degree in Engineering from City University London.
Mr. Kyriakopoulos presently resides in Kyiv, Ukraine.
George Asimis is currently the owner of Alsvit Group of companies, a Group which was founded in 2006 and has since built a trustworthy reputation within the international construction industry. Currently “ALSVIT” operates on-the-ground in the Ukraine, Greece, Russia, and UK with offices in Kiev, Athens, Moscow and London.
Mr. Asimis has acquired a wide experience during his career not only in construction and Facility Management services but also in providing legal services to financial institutions for their REO properties through his legal company “Liga Trust”.
George Asimis holds a BSc degree in Economics from the State University of Management in Moscow.
Panagiotis Kourakos-Mavromichalis is an entrepreneur active in the field of growing and trading of agricultural in Ukraine. At the same time he deals with the real estate market and also focuses on his restaurant, which is one of the brightest representatives of Greek flavors in Kiev.
Mr. Kourakos-Mavromichalis has previously been a member of the Eurobank Group for more than a decade, where he held various positions of responsibility, most recently – the management of the real estate of of Universal Bank, a subsidiary of the Eurobank Group in Ukraine.
His past experience includes positions of responsibility in Eurobank real estate in Ukraine, Bulgaria and Greece.
He is a graduate of the National Kapodistrian University and has been a Balkan winner and champion of Greece in swimming for 8 consecutive years.
